EN: Class victory and class podium in double mission at the Nürburgring and Portimao.

As has often been the case this season, Team Car Collection Motorsport battled for victories and placings in different race series and on different race tracks during a single weekend. Last weekend, the team competed in the fifth round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series on the Nordschleife as well as in the 24h race in Portimao, and was extremely successful. At the Nürburgring, drivers Dennis Fetzer, Klaus Koch, Leon Köhler and Lorenzo Rocco took class victory in the Pro-Am classification, while colleagues José Garcia, Daniel Miller, Patrick Kolb and Andreas Bakkerud finished second on the GT4 class podium at the 24h race in Portimao.

NLS 5

Lionspeed by Car Collection entered an Audi R8 LMS evo II GT3 in the fifth round of the NLS. The two youngsters Dennis Fetzer and Leon Köhler shared the cockpit with the experienced drivers Klaus Koch and Lorenzo Rocco. The quartet competed in the Pro-Am classification of the highest class SP9. Already in qualifying, the team showed that they are a force to be reckoned with by finishing second in class. With a completely trouble-free race and strong driving performances by all four drivers, the #23 crossed the finish line as class winner after six hours of racing.

24h Portimao

On the same weekend, the 24h race of the 24h Series took place on the Formula 1 race track in Portimao. Here Lionspeed by Car Collection entered an Audi R8 LMS GT4 and the drivers José Garcia, Daniel Miller, Patrick Kolb and Andreas Bakkerud in the GT4 class. In qualifying, the driver quartet was able to take second place in class. After the race start, the drivers fought for the lead for a long time, but were then set back a bit by two flat tires. Nevertheless, the team and the four drivers managed to secure second place in the GT4 class with flawless performances, putting them on the podium.
