| In 2026, Car Collection Motorsport will make its debut in the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland and compete in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GT4. The Porsche 911 GT3 R will be fielded in selected races. Car Collection Motorsport is opening a new chapter in the team’s long history for the 2026 season. The team from Walluf will be competing in the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland for the first time. The Car Collection team will compete in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GT4 with a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. The car will be driven by Jova Zec, who only made his circuit racing debut in 2025. Zec immediately finished as runner-up in the GT4 class of the Porsche Sports Cup Suisse and made a guest appearance in GT4 Italy. Jova Zec was able to consistently improve his performance at every race weekend last year. “I am really looking forward to the coming season with Car Collection Motorsport. My clear goal is to continue developing my racing skills and establish myself in the field. At the same time, I want to get the most out of every race and work my way forward step by step. In the long term, my ambition is to prove myself at the highest level in GT racing and, looking ahead, to make my way into international endurance races such as Le Mans,” explains Jova Zec, full of anticipation ahead of the season with the experienced team. The 21-year-old is supported in this by the AF Race Performance Academy, which is led by long-standing Car Collection Motorsport driver Alex Fontana. Fontana supports Jova Zec with intensive coaching, enabling him to develop rapidly. “Jova started at our academy two years ago and demonstrated an excellent work ethic and maturity for his young age right from the start. The natural progression for his young career was to establish himself in a higher racing series – with the support of a top international team like Car Collection. We look forward to following his progress, with our academy coaches always there to support him,” says Alex Fontana, delighted with his protégé’s promotion to the Porsche Sprint Challenge GT4. Car Collection Motorsport team manager Romina Schmidt: “We are looking forward to working with Jova Zec in the Porsche Sports Cup Germany. Last year, he demonstrated his talent and has steadily improved. Now he is taking the next step on his career ladder, and we will support him as best we can. We also plan to field our Porsche 911 GT3 R in selected races on the event calendar; interested drivers are welcome to get in touch with us!” The Porsche Sports Cup Germany is held as part of the ADAC Racing Weekends, a series of events for young and amateur drivers. The season opens on the first weekend in May at Hockenheim, where it will also conclude in October. In between, the series visits Oschersleben, the Nürburgring, the Red Bull Ring and the Ardennes circuit at Spa-Francorchamps.
