At the 24h of Barcelona, Car Collection will return to the 24h Series by Creventic with a Porsche 911 GT3 R. The car, which will be entered in collaboration with Centri Porsche Ticino, will compete in the Pro-Am class.
Car Collection Motorsport has been an integral part of the 24h Series for many years. The team has always felt very comfortable in this series and, with its entry in the season finale, is looking into the possibility of running the full season again next year. The team will therefore be fielding a Porsche 911 GT3 R in the successful endurance championship for the first time at the upcoming 24h of Barcelona. As in the GT World Challenge, the entry will be in collaboration with Centri Porsche Ticino from Switzerland. At the steering wheel are Swiss drivers Ivan Jacoma and Alex Fontana, who also drive the car in the GTWC. They will be supported in Barcelona by the experienced endurance driver Yannick Mettler, also from Switzerland. Fourth in the group is the American “Hash”, who will be taking part in a GT3 race for the first time in Barcelona.
The 24h of Barcelona is one of the classics among endurance races. Already for the 24th time, the race takes place in sunny Catalonia. This year, more than 150 drivers in 50 race cars will be fighting for victories and positions on the well-known Formula 1 circuit. The 24-hour race starts at 12 noon on September 16.
