For the Car Collection Motorsport team, the coming race weekend will be a double mission: Peter Schmidt’s squad will be fielding two new Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) at the same time. While at the 24h Qualifiers at the Nürburgring the popular car with the starting number 24 will compete in the colors of Lionspeed GP, the Centri Porsche Ticino will start with the support of Car Collection at the first round of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe pwd by AWS in Monza.

Lionspeed by Car Collection on the Nürburgring Nordschleife
Lionspeed GP with its characteristic asymmetric car design and stylized lion head is one of the most popular endurance starters on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and will again tackle the 24h race and the associated qualifiers together with Car Collection Motorsport. Last year Patrick Kolb started in an Audi R8 LMS and this season he will compete in a brand new Porsche 911 GT3 R (992). At his side are two experienced Porsche GT factory drivers, Matt Campbell and Mathieu Jaminet. The fourth driver, Patrick Pilet, is also part of the Zuffenhausen squad as a Porsche Driver. Together, the four drivers form a very strong line-up that is in contention for front places.
