EN: Car Collection Motorsport back in GTC Race!

Car Collection Motorsport confirms that at least one Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II will be used. After Peter Schmidt’s team made just two guest appearances in the GTC Race last year, they will now tackle the full season again. Up to 4 vehicles in the GT3 and GT4 categories are planned. Guest starts with the Porsche 911 GT3 R (Type 992) are possible either.

I
n the 2022 season, the squad from Walluf made a guest appearance at the Lausitzring together with Thierry Vermeulen. With a win in the GT60 powered by Pirelli and a 2nd place in the GT Sprint, it was good preparation for the ADAC GT Masters round.

This year the use of up to 4 cars is planned. An Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II has now been confirmed. In addition, another car from Ingolstadt and the two new Porsche 718 Cayman RS CS GT4 should be entered. Negotiations with young talents are still in progress here in order to send at least one driver to the sighting test for the unique talent program at the end of the year. Interested drivers, whether for the GT3 or the GT4, can still contact Car Collection Motorsport.

Peter Schmidt: „I am very pleased to be able to announce that we will again be competing in the GTC Race in the 2023 season with an Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II. We always feel very comfortable here in the series. It is the perfect mixture of professional and friendly organization and a family atmosphere. But I would like to particularly emphasize the talent promotion, where you can win a cockpit in a GT3 car for two years. This is unique and we are happy to support it. We are therefore also planning to use our two Porsche 718 Cayman RS CS GT4. We would like to support the young talents with all our know-how on their way to a professional racing driver career.“
