The rising talent Leon Köhler is joining Team Car Collection Motorsport for the remaining 2022 season in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. The 21-year-old, who has so far mainly raced in the Porsche cups and celebrated many successes there, will pilot the #23 Audi R8 LMS Evo II from Lionspeed by Car Collection together with Lorenzo Rocco and Jörg Viebahn from the upcoming NLS race.
Leon Köhler: “I’m really looking forward to working with Team Car Collection. We have known each other for a while and now it has finally worked out. The team has already celebrated many successes and that I can now drive the rest of the NLS season for them makes me very happy. I’m really looking forward to the challenge of driving a GT3 on the Nordschleife. The Audi R8 LMS GT3 is completely new to me so I’ll have to get used to it first. But I’m very optimistic that, together with the team, I’ll be able to make the appropriate steps quickly.”
